Placings:

1.  All points collected by a player will form an aggregate and this total will determine their final placing in the 2008      SGU Seniors Order of Merit.

2.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three in the final SGU Seniors Order of Merit table and will be presented at the     annual SGU Dinner.

3.  In the event of a tie for leading places in the SGU Seniors Order of Merit, prizes will be shared.

Qualification:

To be eligible for inclusion in the 2008 SGU Seniors Order of Merit, a player must:

1.  Be male at birth and be of amateur status as defined by R&A Rules Limited.

2.  Have attained the age of 50 at 1st January 2008.

3.  Either have been born in Scotland or have one parent born in Scotland or prove principal permanent residence in     Scotland for a period of not less than 5 years.

4.  Not have played international golf for or have competed in a closed championship of any country other than     Scotland.
